Emergency brake parts
Guys, I screwed up. I took my E-brake lever apart to have it chrome plated. It came back nice and shiny. But, I somehow LOST the little pawl that goes into the ratchet, and, of course I need one for a 32 brake lever.
The question I have is this: Will one from say a 28 Ford thru 36 Ford fit, or do I need one specific to the 32? I just need to know before I post a wanted ad on the forums, thinking I could include the Model A section. Thanks Jim |

Re: Emergency brake parts
From your description it sounds like B 2786 (Pawl Hand Brake Lever). The part fits '30-'37 per the Green Bible. It also mentions it is 5/16 thick. You might also ask if there are any good repros as it is a simple part.

Re: Emergency brake parts
I think the Model A suppliers have this part. It may also be the same as the one used on the LOKAR handbrake. Sacramento Vintage Ford shows them in their catalogat $10.
