I would suggest a very good vender turn out. Prices were reasonable however the selection of early V8 parts was somewhat limited. In my humble opinion one now needs security staff to protect against collisions with the large number of personal ride on vehicles that have taken over the event. These vehicles are in the hands of everyone from young children to the senior citizens that may legitimately need a unit to get around. At one time there was to be no vehicle movement on the vending fields until 4:00 PM, that too seems to have gone by the wayside. Others may choose to speak up on this subject.

I have been to Spring Carlisle since the early twenty mid 80s and yes, ok’d stuff is down but vendor turnout was pretty good this year with all the north fields nearly full. We were there Tuesday-Friday and although we sold stuff, it was slow but steady. Since we were one of the few vendors with old stuff, buyers were fewer but again, steady.

Spring Carlisle is not what it was for our purposes but it is still worth going I think - you just have to look a little more for the parts we need …..
