Front Cross Member Problems

I'm restoring a 29 town sedan that came from N. Dakota and the front cross member had a really bad farm repair so I replaced it with what I thought was the right cross member, when I put the radiator in it doesn't fit, it was hitting the bracket with the crank hole, so I took the crank hole bracket off thinking I had the wrong one and it's still bottoming out on the drivers side even without the crank hole bracket. I must have the wrong year cross member hopefully someone can tell me what to look for and maybe have one I could buy. I was hoping to get this going this year, this is a real set back, it was a lot of work for me riveting that cross member in there; I was getting ready to start the motor.
