Default Storage for summer

I leave Bullhead City, AZ each summer because of the heat and return in the middle of Sept. My A is garaged stored year around.

For the last 10 years I have been either emptying my fuel system and replacing glass sediment bowl filter screen and gasket prior to refilling in Sept. or filling the tank before storage.

prior to storage.
Which method would be the best:
I run the engine dry after turning off fuel shut-off lever both methods.

1. Emptying fuel system.
2. Filling fuel system.
Thank you in advance,
Randy

Neither of those things seem necessary to me for only a 90 day storage. Why do you do this?

I believe you should fill the tank, it would keep rust from forming inside the tank walls
and bottom, leave the sediment bowl full also. leave your fuel valve closed. M.O.

I agree but I would use corn free gas for storage.

I would put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank, start and run it monthly! You don't have a humidity problem in Arizona .......Yes?

The Mojave isn't known for condensation problems. Leave it empty.

Thanks for the 'civil' replies.I'vr been alternating empty/full tank storage for 58 years ownership of my A.
2 float replacements in that time period and tank is fine.

This year I'll go full with Sta-Bil.

I lived a few years just down the road in LHC, in AZ it's called the Mohave! Still pronounced the same though.

With all of the boats in the region, ethanol free gas is readily available. If you're going to fill it with anything, put that in it.
