My condolences too on the loss of your mother. After reading this I think I'll call my 86 year old mom next. Lost my dad in '79 and I still think of him every day.

Very sorry to hear of the loss of you're Mother. I hope time will help heal the pain for you and the family.
My mother is still hanging in there at 96, living alone (with a lot of company) in the house I grew up in. I can't even imagine what it will be like when her time comes.

Lost my Mom a year ago May. Last fall I went to Dearborn for a class at "the glass house" and we had a reception at Fairlane (Henry's home). On the way home I had
a moment of sadness that I couldn't call Mom and tell her about the trip. You will have those moments but you'll also have moments where a smile comes to your face because something reminds you of her or you know it's something she would like. God bless you and your family.

We are the fortunate ones. Fortunate that you would think enough of us, to share this sad time with us. You are now a member of a new group, that is, the group where, " Mothers Day " has a different meaning than it once did. Thank you for sharing this hard time with us.

I am very sorry for your loss. Things will get better with time, but having said that, things will never be quite the same. My Mom died in 1991 and I still have problems with it. ......Matt in Alameda

Sorry for your loss. As the old saying goes, "A boy's best friend is his mother" and it can be devastating to lose your "Ma Ma" It was for me some 20 years ago. Mine lived to be 92.
