Need a front seat for my 51 Merc 2 dr. Will Ford 49-51 front seats fit ? Any alternate suggestions if not.

You may have to watch flea pay for a while but they do come up when folks customize the 6 passenger coupes. I've seen a few on there in the last several years. The shoebox seat is smaller and has different mountings. They bolt down where the Mercury seats have the mounts welded to the floor with the four clevis pins to hold the seat structure.
