Model A oil pans
The motor in my roadster has an oil pan with just a plug in the bottom - my coupe has a pan that has a plug and an access plate to pull the oil pump out without dropping the pan . QUESTION; can these be interchanged ?? Thanks- always learning!

Re: Model A oil pans
Its my understanding the access plate was used on early vehicles and that all the pans can be interchanged.

Re: Model A oil pans
Just beware of the oil pump spring. On later pans the spring is on the pump, not fastened to the pan.
