Default Ford marked rear axles ?

For the last 2 weeks Ive been cleaning and taking inventory of spareparts . Its been banjo rears with torque tubes and bars . Found some 2 1941 diffs , one is 3.54 the other 3.78 , a 37 wide 5 in 378 and a 40 ? in 378 . Curiously the 1937 has rear axles marked with script Ford about 1” from the carrier bearing in 3 spots around the axles . Non of the others have any markings Ive seen . Are they factory replacements or did for just stop marking them ?
After all this work Im just curious. Any info is appreciated. Plus Ill soon have a list of free parts for pickup only .
Thanks , Gary
