door panel removal
I have a 1931 slant windshield sedan and the glass has come loose from the track and will not roll up and down. What is involved in removing the door handles and the door panel. thanks for your help.

1: Push in the escutcheons of the handles, until the pins that hold the handles in place are revealed. Push out the pins to release the handles. 2: Remove the window molding, and the trim piece just below it. 3: Remove the screws holding the bottom corners of the interior panel. 4: Use a suitable tool (e.g. from HF) to pry out all the clips around the edge of the panel. Hopefully the panel will not fall apart. :-) Getting the glass and regulator out is a whole other story... BTW, there is a special rubber strip for mounting the S/W windows in their channels. It has an extra flap the sticks out, and seals against the outer edge of the window opening when the window is rolled up. Doug
