Tbone, that hole worn thru the axle tube can be welded easily, have done it a few times. do not discard that tube

Doug, why braze? It is soft and will pound away easily. If you can do all I see in the pics I know you can MIG or TIG

Doug in NJ would you mind detailing the process for riveting the replacement front roller tracks as shown in your photo gallery3? Maybe we should start a new thread as I don't want to disrupt Banky's flow of information.

For now, I'm going to install the new bushing and fill the gap with 2-part epoxy. Most likely JB weld. I do consider this a temporary fix, I'll keep an eye on it. But I figure since there is still metal there, and with the new bushing I should be fine.

you are underestimating the forces back there and the pounding that goes on.
epoxy is just that, plastic
