Default Issues on installing hood latch on my 1951 F-1 truck

It seems like I am missing a spring or some thing on my 51 ford truck. Can some one send me some photo's on how it is installed or how their truck is set up thanks Tom

I'll try my best (my scanner took a dump) hopefully you have the large threaded bullet
that has a slot for screwdriver a cupped large washer placed on that then a large spring
on that the whole thing is screwed into the hood and adjusted so the hood closes correctly.
then a lock nut is placed on the top. hope this helps

There's a small spring that returns the release handle, and the big spring on the latching post. Google the numbers to see if you can find them.
