I am cleaning what appears to be original dirt from the bottom of my 32 3W. It appears to be very nicely painted a sort of cream color. I thought it would be black. What color were the floor bottoms painted?

Same as the main body color.

I do not have a 32 3wdw, I do have a 34 3wdw original car not restored or repainted. On the bottom side of the floor pan (the car is black) it is painted black only on the outer edges of the body, the most part of the flooran is a red oxide primer It looks to me like they did not paint the bottom side of the floor pan at the factory.
