Default Gas sending unit

I too have problems with my 38 Ford gas sending unit. My question is what do you do to keep from running out of fuel. Is there some after market set up? Does someone have there own modification that they can share or sell?

If you have a question about your car ask in one of the forums. There are 4 sections Model T, Model A, Early V8 and Late V8. The posting on those 4 is more directed to stock type cars and trucks.
If it's a customizing type question try;
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/
If you have a 32 to 34 4 cylinder engine question try the Model A section.

The editors/owners do not answer car questions.

So in your case best to ask in the early V8 section

Have a look at macsautoparts.com/ford_mercury_early/fuel-systems/gas-tanks/gas-tank-sending-units-and-related . Maybe you will find a solution there.
