Whitewalls

My wife said she would pay for the paint job & I could pick out the color I wanted, But she wanted WHITEWALLS !! SOoooooo----- P.S. The wheels go back to BLACK !!

Being new to this. I have bought so many new parts or had original parts redone and the cost is killing me. There is one real whitewall on the car and the rest were painted to look like a white wall. I am going to have to replace the tires from dry rot. I would like to have whitewalls but the cost is to much so I will be going with blackwalls just because of the cost. I am 53.

My model "a" came with w/w tires so I'll wait till they wear out and buy black walls....reason... price... whitewalls = 171.00 - 215.00 - black walls = 99.00

To each A owner their own in my book... I think some A's look very shape with whitewalls; mostly cars with color and as I define it, black is not a color... So if your car is lighter in color, generally to me whitewalls looks nice/right (historical correctness aside). I for one like my Black A, all in black...

I agree with you. To me a dark car with white walls, the white walls stand out way too much. On a light color car they are now so bad. IMHO

I have black walls on my 28 sport coupe and white walls on my 31 slant window cabriolet. I would really like to see how the Cab would look with black walls. Will have to wait till these wear out first. I'm 55

I put white walls on my phaeton in 1965 and it will have white walls on it when I'm gone! Just love them on a Model A.

Just changed my mind, put blackwalls on the doodlebug and sold the roadster so don't have to decide on that one. The coupe will keep it's blackwalls and the wheels are now black LOL
