Default Zenith Secondary qwell

I am currently tuning up a Zenith carb for a friend. This carb is an early one with the brass insert for the GAV needle. I noticed that there was no secondary well. Nor or there any threads to install one.

This carb has an "H" embossed on the side.

Is the absence of a secondary well normal for this type of Zenith?
