The company first filed as a business in New York in 1925. It was dissolved in 1985. On the side of the truck it says since 1934.

As fashionable as Town Car Deliveries (& Town Cars) were, they were beyond their time after the October 1929 stock market crash. With increasing numbers of the population out of work (soup lines), it wasn't 'polite' to be see in a chauffeur driven vehicle.

From a 1936 newspaper used car ad, '1931 Ford Town Car Delivery $60.'

There was a Town Car Delivery in Fine Point at Hamliton last week. Beautifully done car!!!

I think 1834 is the phone number the word above the number would have been the
exchange name.

I believe it says Established. So the company was established in 1834.
