Fordbarn Swap Meet or EBay. They are not scarce so don't overpay! Wayne

Yea lots of issues, I believe they did away with them... Your better off cutting the sides off an original style

My quick look at the link provided by SportCoupe1927, gave me the site in English - I saw no German language issues.

$10 + $5 for shipping = $15, "5 sold in last 24 hours" - "only 4 left"

I've had one for the last two years but can't remember the vendor who sold it. Buy all of my parts from Snyders but maybe I picked it up on Ebay. It's a great demo for the kids who can see what happens in the distributor. Point is that I've had no problems whatsoever with it. Per the above comments, I guess I'll keep an original solid cap in my spares kit whenever out on the road.

There were some problems with small fine cracks starting at the center of the cap, but from the ones I've seen they should still be solid enough to be functional.

Before these became available I made my own clear cap from some thick Plexiglas.

I have over 30,000 miles on my clear cap and it keeps on going. It has a visible "line" that may be a crack but it runs outward from the center contact and since there is no stress it hasn't changed in all the time it has been used. I have a spare one in the trunk and it has the same 'line'.
I think all the concern over the "crack" has done us out of another neat product. They look cool as hell and perform well.
