Hey, so am I!
I also am working on a '22 Touring. Not enough wood left in that thing to start a small fire. I think I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and buy a kit. So far, it's about $1200. OUCH! |

Re: T Wood
Wolf, I purchased last week a full wood kit drawing spec's to cut my own kit for a 1923 touring body. I need a week of two to get the wood together and had thought of making some extra components as spares just to have on hand. If you can wait maybe I can cut your missing piece. Stuart |

Re: T Wood
All you guys who are going to cut out your own wood for a touring, try to find some dry sycamore, it has no acid in the wood and is easy to work, light and strong. It also holds nail well. |

Re: T Wood
A few years ago I bought a wood kit for my 1925. It cost a lot but was money well spent. Well done, drilled, and fit near perfectly. I got it from MAC'S in NY. I could never have cut it so well even if I had a pattern and the time. Now I'm starting a touring of the same age and found MAC'S doesn't have a kit for it anymore. I saw your discussin of a $1200 kit. Who sells that? Do they have any competition? JR |
