Default Allen dist machine

Friend has a Allen E1415HD dist machine and the first page of instruction says hook up the battery, the rest of the page missing, no where can we see where a battery would go or what size,,
Can’t really get a good readable pulse ,,is it supposed to have a battery and what size,,I know my sun takes a 6 volt car battery,,,

I have an Allen E-316 and had the same issue. Even with a full manual there were no pics or mention of the battery type, size, or location. The guts of mine look similar to the model mentioned, and probably the only real difference is that mine is mounted within a rolling cabinet which is mostly empty space. In the end I just purchased a 6 VDC automotive starting battery as the cabinet had the space. I posted a thread with pics on the HAMB. I’ll find the link and post it here.

A pic from a copy of the manual I purchased on-line. Of course, they cut it off. There is no mention of a battery in an exhaustive parts list that lists every nut, bolt, screw, terminal, etc. which I find just stunning.

Damn. Pic will not upload.
