Corked
Hi All.. my old unused cork sump gaskets seemed to have shrunk.
Can they be saved? Regards Kevin |

Re: Corked
common problem in some parts worked in northwest Australia for some time and we used to keep gaskets in an old fridge [working] the cold moist air worked wonders

Re: Corked
I think they make pills for that now. A friend of mine added one to the water when he was soaking a cork pan gasket for an 8ba and ended up having to sell it to a guy with a lincoln V12..... Good thing he didn't swallow it.

Not only that, but if it got caught in his throat, all he'd end up with is a "Stiff Neck" . . .

Re: Corked
Good one B&S! I needed a laugh on a dreary winter afternoon at lunch break. Just last week a pair of guys stole a shipment of that stuff from a truck down in Seattle. The cops told the public to be on the lookout for a couple of hardened criminals.....
