Default How much Corn Head Grease?

How much Corn Head Grease will I need when I replace my universal joint in my 46 Super Deluxe?

look in the ford manual how much corn grease does it say to use none. use what the manual says

I remember using a full tube. I think others here have posted similarly.

Last night I changed out the four decades old u-joint in a 34 Coupe. I used 3/4 of a tube of JD corn head grease. Same stuff I presently use in five other cars.

No richard it says soda soap grease if you can find it please post where. Cornheader or semifluid bearing grease is the closest that can be found these days

mix 1/2 synthetic grease with 1/2 synthetic trans fluid this combination works great, does not cake up and seems to stay in the bearings of the u-joint

You can remove the speedometer turtle and pump grease till it starts coming out the opening.

I used about a tube and a half of Cornhead Grease and the neoprene o-ring seal.
Car is 1940 Ford.

I made one using a piece of rubber tubing that had the right diameter and joined it with a small spring. Made sure it was oil resistant.

It was just a piece I had that was about 5/16 dia. And fit good in groove of clamshell.
