Are the 38 deluxe 40 decklid from Tudors the same?

I need a 38 and found a 40

Man, they sure do appear to be the same shape and size. '38 on top, '40 below!

I think the overall appearance on the outside of the same. The holes are different with the handle I suspect, and maybe the bracing inside by the handle.

The location of the handle is definitely different , so the latch mechanism would also be different.
