Default 1939 ford deluxe pin spring and ferrell

Guys,

Im having a hard time finding a pin spring and ferrell for a trunk key lock cover, I was told that a fellow by the name of lock doc Leon Rowell may have spare parts I am looking for, would anyone out there know how to contact him or know of anyone/anywhere else I can find these parts.. If so please PM me or email.

Thanks,

Jim S.

Use a spring from a ball point pen. A small nut can be made to work for a retainer.

Check with Bob Drake. He makes (or made) the stainless pin and spring for the handle. Dennis Carpenter might have it too. The trick is getting the pin, spring and retainer in place. I haven't figured out a good way so I haven't fixed mine yet.
