Question 1930 running board re-cover help?

Hi Folks,

I am to the point where I am ready to re-cover the running baords on my '30. Is there information out there somewhere that would assist me in winding up witha first class job?

I did a search and did not find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

chris,
there was a discussion, onthe subject, just a week or more ago!
someone advised that youd better get it glued right the first try...or else after following that thread, i decided that one might not get a good job done with one handed,so will leave em bare metal

I did mine with new mats from Snyders about two years ago. It may not be first class, but it looks good to me.

Use solvent base contact cement, not the water base stuff.
