Unhappy 1929 Fordor Leatherback Wood

Does anybody know of a wood supplier other than Fordwood? They're backlogged and it could be almost a year before I get the wood parts I need. I don't even need new wood, I really just need some solid pieces. Mostly the roof and a pillar or two.

Have you considered making the items you need yourself? Find a sawmill for your stock, and use some basic wood tools to replicate what you need.

We're not very good at sculpting wooden parts, and unfortunately, my dad threw out the old wood.

He received a wood kit from macs, pulled off the old pieces, tossed em in the bin, opened the new kit, realized it was wrong, sent it back .. its a huge mess, and now we have no roof, and a broken A pillar.

There is a model a wood supplier in AZ, 'A wood bros.?' I will check when I get home if you want.

Hi Rob,

Try these guys,

Brothers A wood
Steve:480-620-3263
Brian:480-748-9591

I have not used them but they come recommended by Dan Gambill of the T.S. club.
