I'm sure a lot are confused. To reverse the flow does not require reversing rotation of either cam or crankshaft.

The easiest way to reverse port a motor is to grind a cam from a blank.
You will get better performance as the intakes are not robbing from each other. The down side is that the exhaust ports and or block will crack and fail. If you are all out racing this, by all means pursue this. If you are doing this for a street car, I would just use the Miller overhead and enjoy the car from day one. I have made a few cams from blanks over the last couple years. I would rather bolt on a head and go drive it, as I am still in the shop making parts for another Bonneville attempt. YMMV, John
