Default Steering Gear Box

How do you adjust the the Sector Thrust screw on the steering gear box? In or out to lesson the steering wheel free movement ?

It’s all in the service bulletins. Very good detail. I assume it’s a 30/31. You should have a copy of the bulletins anyway. Not too tight on the upper race. It will break.

JacksonII - my A is a 1928 (7 tooth) gear box.

Adjustment of the early steering box (7 tooth) is covered in the Service Bulletins, page 240.
