Default Bristol,ct swap meet

Swap meet at Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT this Sunday. So is Thompson. Any opinion on the better of the two? I've been to Thompson but not much in the way of flathead stuff. Thanks, Marvin

Hi Marvin,
It's the end of swap meets for me so I try to go to both. I do Thompson on Saturday and Lake Compounce on Sunday. Depends of course on weather. Not much Flathead at either but YOU NEVER KNOW! That's the fun.
Good luck,
Bruce/CT

What is the weather like in the areas of Thompson Speedway and Bristol (Lake Compounce), how is the snow situation? We will be travelling from southeastern Massachusetts looking for goodies. The current plan is to attend both events. .......LouB.

I don't think thompson got that much snow, bristol about 17", I'm in new britain, 8 or so miles east with about 6-8' and it's 90% gone. Supposed to be warm reat of the week, so more melting.

I will be there in a blue Ranger pickup with 33-40 Ford parts including 33-34 sedan rear fenders, 37 rechromed bumper guards, SS 38-40 Drake hood hinges etc. Pete/Ct

I went early today. I saw more kitchen sinks than Flathead parts. Will not go back next year.
I guess I Missed the Blue Ford Ranger with 34 parts.
From past experience Lake C. is somewhat better. Many more old Fords to look at [most not for sale]. Too bad that I have to work on a home project tomorrow.
