Default '39 conv't Window Channel

I have a 39 conv't coupe. The windows rattle something fierce (up or down). I have the window rollers, and they are fine. Wiskers are just ok. Wondering if you folks have put in the channels where the window side rollers are to further help reduce the vibrations. There is nothing currently in the two end U channels currently, am I missing something in there to help?
Thanks

I know the 35-36 and earlier used a felt strip in the channels. there is a posting here recently regarding a source for the felt and installation. make sure the small springs in the sides of the channels are working and the sides of the channels move properly.
