Help with OEM material of the car seats for a 40 Convertible
I recently picked up a 40 Convertible that was last driven and licensed in 1973. The car has been stored and registration kept current in California since 1973. Can someone give me information on what material(s) the car seats originally came with from the factory.
Thanks Ron |

Ron, The seat cushions were leather. The back rests and side panels as well as door panels were "leatherette". The modern equivalent of "leatherette" would be vinyl.

There are currently two layers of material on the front seat. One layer is cloth and one layer is vinyl. I would guess the leather was removed long ago. |
