You need to drive to the southeast Phoenix area (Gilbert, AZ.) and visit Sammy Guthrie at Arizona Model A. He has tons of rust-free original parts for sale, plus a huge inventory of quality new parts. You ought to call ahead of time, though, with your wish list. That might save you a disappointing trip if Sammy doesn't have the early 1928 parts you need. Unless they are body style-specific, I'll bet he has what you need. His number is 480-782-0266, Tuesday-Friday. Even if Sammy doesn't have exactly what you need, it's still worth a visit to see his parts department and extensive inventory of original Model A sheet metal, bodies and chassis parts.

Marshall, you forgot to mention how helpful and knowledgeable Sammy is. His father, Sam is just as cluey.

"31 Model A" -
Don't "all my ex's live in Texas"? (Great country-western song!)

Nope, only have one in Texas, I think, but I do remember getting hitched in San Antonio once to another. She's live in PA.

I do hope to spend some time in NM and AZ someday. About the only places I haven't seen that I want to. Sedona for sure, in cognito though .

For a real neat experience take the bi-plane ride or the helicopter ride over the area as it gives you a new perspective of the area. You may be able to deal with the vendors for a better than advertised price for the ride. Drive up Oak Creek Canyon to Flagstaff for a real memorable drive stopping at the overlooks. This drive is at a slow pace and a lot of curves.

When you are in Sedona, ask around for the man whose name I have forgotten, that has a jewelry store, upscale, that made a bronze sculpture of his Model A coupe and displayed at one of the National Meets. He also makes Model A horns out of sterling in pin on form or pendant with silver chain for your lovely bride. He will also tell you about his trip cross country in his coupe to the National Meet from Sedona to one of the National Meets. I lived in Flagstaff back in the 60's and drove my 30 Tudor down in the canyon about once every other week, even in the snow. Fun times.
