The ultimate test arrives later; i.e., when one later gets his preferred "carburetor cleaner" on the new carburetor coating which dissolves gasoline residue and dissolves some coatings not affected by gasoline.

Side note, I once bought a case of Chevron, safe, carb cleaner. An engine wouldn't even RUN on it!!! Maybe that's why Chief categorized most additives/penetrants/sprays, as PANTHER-PISS
