Default New electrical problem

I installed a new wiring harness from the light switch to front and back lights. Horn works fine. No power to the headlights but the horn honks in the low and high switch positions. Checked the switch from housing to stearing column. Seems to be fine. Ideas?

Are you saying the horn starts honking when you turn the light switch on?

Due to loose tolerance on some repro parts, the horn contact often moves to the side and grounds the horn when the light switch rod is moved. Some have used heat shrink to fix the spring loaded contact.
