Default Fastener size D nuts

31 Coupe, after 50 years I'm going install the felt and metal around the column and peddle arms. What is the thread size in the D nuts? Search of the forum shows #12-24 pretty common for body fastenings.

Thanks,

Joe B

Good Morning...all the bolts that go around the floor boards and the pannel that hold the felt are 12/24. Always good to chase them with a tap prior to trying to put a bolt into the nut that is part of the body...All the suppliers have them in little kits with the proper washer. There is a spot at the bottom of the plate that requires a screw...it should be pre-drilled and be just small enough in diameter to go into the slot...pan head...Ernie in Arizona
