Default !947 Mercury Coupe

Is the glass for a 1947 Mercury Coupe interchangeable with that of the same year and model Ford??
Thanks,
Dennis

Comparison shots - 1946 Ford Super Deluxe and 1946 Mercury Sedan Coupes.
Both models share the same body from the Firewall back.
On that basis, glass, doors and trunk lids are the same, except for different trim that distinguishes each model.

I like the looks of the 1942 Ford military vehicle in the background of the Mercury picture.

I also believe the Mercs had 118" wheelbase vice the 114" Ford.

Most of that difference was taken up in the fenders.

This car is a 1946 Mercury 114 Coupe.
Steve mentioned about a 114" Wheelbase Mercury.
These Mercurys were unique to Canada and buyers had a choice of selecting a Coupe or a Sedan Coupe.
The Coupe body style was never released on the regular 118" Wheelbase Mercury, only the Sedan Coupe.
Notice that the Mercury 114 used Ford front fenders and hood.
