I'm not sure about the vicky but you can remove the tank from a regular sedan. Tight fit but will come out.

Hard to believe Henry would do that. I know the tanks are different, does it mount to the bottom of the frame so its removable? never seen one up close

Mounts on top the frame.They have a different spreader bar than the conventional '34 .The tanks are same as for the pickup.Have a removable collar fill tube.When I did my Vicky in 1970 I had the body off so tank removable was easy.

Different location of Fuel Filler Neck on 1934 Ford Victoria

The 34 Victoria filler neck screws into the tank like the pickup one. There is a thick lead washer that makes the seal. I don't know if this would make the tank harder or easier to remove. Might be able to move it sideways and drop one end down.
My 34 sedan delivery had the same kind of tank with a screw in filler pipe. Might even have been the same tank, I never looked up the part number.

Yes same all the same tank also fits delivery,woody,pickup not sure about filler necks I have a delivery one and pickup there slightly different.

I would remove the filler neck. Then unbolt the tank and slide it to one side to see if the end will drop down to get it out. I would try that before trying to lift the body.

That won't work, the tank itself just barely fits between the frame rails....there's no end play left or right.

With the tank side flanges on top of the frame, remove the two stationary bolts on the passenger side.....one spring loaded bolt on the left, you have to remove the rear spreader bar (which has the rear bumper mounts welded to it); raise the rear body with a hoist once the frame bolts are removed; then slide the tank down the rear frame horns, under the body apron that allows the bumper supports to go through. Five to six inches of height is needed to have the tank clear the rear body apron.

Yes, the filler neck must be unscrewed first, not to mention the air and fuel lines.

A chain fall COULD be used to raise the body by removing the two rear window interior garnishes, rolling down the windows and using a 4x4 with carpeting as cushioning to raise the rear of the body.

Just a suggestion for a much simpler method of raising the rear of the body a few inches. Coop/AMERICAN
