Smile 1930 side mount spare tire mount

Hi,
Can anyone furnish a picture or tell me exactly how the base of the mounting bracket mounts on the frame.
I'm installing a LH fender side mount on a 1930 Model A.

Thank you in advance,
Mike

Trying to reattach spare side mount on 28 tudor. New splash shield have installed; no

Try this on for size.
It doesn't look legible, so here's where it came from: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/t...ensions.44349/

My friend wanted twin side mounts when we restored his pickup. I mounted the splash aprons then used a pencil through the frame mount to scribe the largest circle the pencil would make, then I found the center of the circle and drilled the hole. They came out perfect. I used a hole saw on slow speed.

Try doing a search. Couple of years ago Don Turley posted step by step instructions if I remember correctly.
