Default idenifiing holes in new body parts

have 2 week old (to me) 29 pu truck looks to have all new body&bed parts. will need taillight(don't have one)where do I find where to drill on fender or bed? also on back of cab, there are 2 holes on each side about driver or pass neck level.maybe one more for now,has new door skins,no holes.have outside door handles,info on best way to mark for sq stock on handle. thanks, tom in Joppa md

Here is a picture of the tail light mounting. Depending on what month
your truck was built it may have a teacup tail light.

Seems like the best route would be to find a pickup in your area and measure everything twice. It is really easy to drill a hole, but a lot more work to close one up.

seems like 4 holes in back of pickup cab (2 on each side) are for mail pouch. kinda like early glove compartment.28&29 only.30,31 had sheetmetal pouch where pass would have right foot.
