Default Original Wood and engine splash pan identification help

Hello all , here is what I have . Any thoughts on what the splash pan or the wood are for ? This was amongst my Dad's stuff and it was in with the 36 stuff . It's definitely not 36 . The wood looks like part of a floor board ?? Any thoughts ??

The wood piece looks like the rear window part that holds the window crank in a coupe.

1932 3W is also very similar. Maybe more rounded on the top edge than '33 (?).
