unknown head

I have a twin plug head, which according to the owner had the manufacturers name ground off the top due to racing restriction for non-ford heads. The heads name was written originally across the head at an angle, from corner to corner, with smaller writing in the opposite corners..any ideas of what kind of racing head this is?
