1930 roadster hood latches
hello- i understand that hood shelves were discontinued in 1930. so, were the latches bolted directly to front fender and when ordering latches do i ask for 30 latches or will any year do? thank u

The front hood latch bolts through the hood latch, fender and frame rail. The rear latch bolts through the hood latch, the fender and the pad on the frame with slotted holes. You would order hood latches for 30-31. They are the same with a two screw base.

You did not state what year car you are working on. The 28-29 latches are different from the 30-31 When ordering you must specify what year your car is.
