Default Cut a Way Model motor.

The wife and I attended a hit and miss motor show a few weeks ago and a friend of mine had his cut away motor on display. Not only does it run, I saw it run for 2-1/2 hours continuously. It was hilarious listening to those that said it could not run very long without oil in the pan. ALL of them left shaking their heads and the motor still running.

LOOOONG ago, I saw a Flathead V-8, running on a stand, at a Sears Store, with one head removed!

Very nicely done too!
I video taped the one that was at the Pancake Breakfast running.
I need to upload it to my YouTube Channel when I get some time.

The grease gun cartridge in the first photo explains why it runs without out oil. Looking a little closer, one sees grease Zerks on the rods, etc. and grease smeared on the cam lobes. Add a little two stroke oil to the gas and you're good to go.
