Default 16" radial wide whitewalls

Is there an economical 16" radial 3"wide or wider whitewall available? Getting close to putting the '41 tudor on the road!

I've had good service from the Diamond back radials on my '36; http://www.dbtires.com/

"Economical" is a relative term, ain't none of them really cheap.

i got my diamond backs through the white wall candy store in orange. for a good radial tire for a regular car your going to spend around $130-$150 each (for that size 16"), a bias ply whitewall tire is around $130 each so $195 isn't that far off for a whitewall radial.

I just put Diamond Back 215/70R16-3" whitewalls on my '36 coupe and the difference in ride from my old bias plys was phenomenal! They aren't cheap at $224 each but the better ride was worth it!

Thanks ya'll. You confirmed pretty much what I had tentatively decided--going with the Diamondback. Usually more is less in the long run! Bill
