Are the front crossmembers the same on a passenger car and AA truck?

I think they look very similar but the AA is beefier. Its made out heavy gauge metal so it won’t fit in the frame rails.

I did notice a reinforcement strap on the bottom of the spring pocket and it is heavy

that reinforcement strap might be a "farmer fix" done sometime in the last 90 years.

Bob is correct and they are heavier metal. also the rivet size and pattern is different.
