Default moon shine CD

Hi guys, I'm looking for some moon shine cds to rent or books to buy. Since I've been to the Dawsonville moon shine festival I would like to learn more about the moonshiners. Thanks Jack.

Look for a copy of Junior Johnson's book, he was a moon shiner before he was in NASCAR. If I remember right it was called Thunder Road. I'll look for my copy to be sure of the title.

Check Amazon for a copy of Thunder Road, Robert Mitchum's 1958 film as shot in the heart of moonshine country at the time.

The next time you are down South visit the moonshine exhibit in the Wilkes County Museum in North Wilksboro NC. Junior Johnson's #4, '40 Ford stock car is in there among the stills. Hot Rod magazine had a great article on Henry Clay Call and Junior Johnson running shine back a few years ago. Henry has a collection of shine running '40 Fords and Chryslers. If I can find the article, I will post the month and year of the issue. There were some great shine running cars around the square the last time I went to the festival.

You can't call Popcorn unless you have a special long distance. Cause sadly he is no longer alive, committed suicide to keep from going to jail. Really suk.
