Default Scored a '32 cabriolet today.

1932 cabriolet coupe with 75'000 actual miles. Okay not the '32 Ford roadster that I have always wanted but body is Briggs built Plymouth PB and it already has hydraulic brakes.

SWEET! That's a pretty rare car - think there were only about 4800-4900 built.

I used to have old Plymouths - unfortunately none were 32 convertible coupe. Finding parts can be frustrating - not nearly as many repros as Ford. Here's a couple websites with good info:

That is a really nice looking car . . . and I really like 32 Cabs . . . or all flavors! Have fun and enjoy the heck out of it.

Now that looks like your typical ganster car!
Only thing missing is a wise guy with a Thompson on the running board!

I'd get a '32 Brookville roadster with all the original options before buying a '32 Ford cabriolet.

Wow,thank you for this information. One thing I just learned from it is engine number and serial number are different from each other and the way Henry did it to match. I tried to private message you to thank you for the much needed information. Don't want to push the Plymouth post on Barn and start upsetting people. I thought I had mismatched serial #/engine # but I think Plymouth did it different.

Yes ,but the anti fun police in NZ will call that a 2017 car for registration. Not what you really want.

I know - but life's short.
There's just something about the '32 roadster compared to the '32 cabriolet. The cabriolets look a little stodgy.
Same with 33/34.
Roadsters have that sportier look about them.
I guess with the time and money you'll spent on a Brookville, you could have almost got yourself a genuine one.
A lot of those '32 V8's that are still left started life as B4's.
My favourite fords are actually '37 coupes and all '39 standards and deluxes.
