31 roadster top bows

Hi guys , can anyone describe the front header wood on a deluxe roadster? I'm test fitting mine and something is wrong, installed it's a 1-2 in. short on the passenger side . the top irons align but the holes don't matchup, I've noticed there are 2 cut outs for windshield wipers , could this be from a different make car? the guy I bought it from said he took it off his 31 ford roadster. any help is always appreciated. thanks THE HOOCH
