Default Car colors

We often see requests for photos of cars in specific colors or get asked about "what color is this". I think the latest internet/news sensation about the dress color shows what we are up against when photographing colors. I saw, just this morning, a demo of colors shown on a "live" video that is not a series of stills where the colors seemed to change right before your eyes.

So keep that in mind when you see things on the computer and in print. Best to get the paint guide from the vendors and see the chips. (Even those will change over time).

I agree, that is why TV's and computer monitors have all of the adjustments. It allows you to adjust the screen to what you think looks best. Which is really how you see a color. Each of us see colors a little different, however we have been told since we were little what was "red, blue, green, etc." so each of us has related the "color" we see with what we were told it was.
