Without shock towers it will be a full frame car and if it came with 289 would place it between 63 and 67 Full size Ford. Mercury kept the 390 till 72.

The "File Size" of the image has to be just under 2MB to upload it as an attachment. You may have to create a resized copy of the original (digital) photo.

There is at least one other way to include photos but I haven't gone that route yet.

Paetsgone, thanks for sending the picture, and I sent it to Trevor (Mercman)
and he worked his magic and got it posted for you. Thanks Trev.

I wonder if that is a 352 engine in a full size Ford car or maybe pickup.
I can't tell for sure. Some others will chime in here to help identify it.

With that old round single brake master cylinder should help identify the year.

It's not a 63 Galaxie. Mine had the washer bag on the right. And definitely not a 289.

There was a 1966 convertible 4 speed mustang parked next to it. I remember that one. Had couguar taillights mounted and another set laying inside.

Question Re: Can you id this ford.

It is an FE, most likely LT (352-360-390 2V) as you see how the oil filter is mounted horizontally.

Pre-1967 chassis with SGL RSVR MC (but has an ALT INSTALL - 65/ ).

I would guess GALAXY - CUSTOM.

It was a PASS CAR and not pickup?

66 was the last year for the single master cylinder.if the motor is original it should be 66.

352 engines were almost as common as 390s. It doesn't have the coolant reservoir attached to the coolant thermostat housing of the manifold and it has an alternator so it's likely 65 or 66. No power brakes or steering so it's a basic model. Likely a 352 unless it's a pickup. An F100 could have either engine. The 360 came out for 1968 & later.
