Talking Help Please 1930 Roadster Body Wood

I bought the Body Wood kit for my 1930 roadster, but there are no diagrams or descriptions for where each piece goes. (Not body blocks). My car was a basket case and had no interior wood to give me a idea of where and how to attach the pieces. I know some of it forms a barrier behind the seat. Anybody got some pictures to help me? Thanks

Thanks. I tried the search function and only found body block info. The fordwood link gave me what I need I think.

The body wood in a roadster is fairly intuitive once you start trial fitting the pieces. They'll only go in one way, paying attention to the pre-drilled holes with their countersunk tops. Keep in mind why the wood is there in the first place: to act as an anchor for the interior panels that will be nailed against them. It is not structural wood. Look at your interior kit pieces (if you have an interior kit already) and you'll see how they match the shape of the wood pieces. The curved belt line wood will also only fit one way. Once you place the pieces on the metal lips, you'll see how they fit. You may have to sand portions that stick out too far, but generally the wood makers have this body style's wood patterns down pat. Not much extra work is required beyond some contour sanding. Just be glad you don't have a pre-slant windshield Fordor!
